Coca-Cola has a pretty decently established internet presence. I assume they have advertisements here and there, though I’m not able to see them because of Adblock Plus (I hate ads, which is ironic coming from a Mass Comm minor, I know).

At any rate, paying a visit to the Coke website, it’s clear they know what they’re doing. They have silly banner ads and promotions, as well as videos and a Twitter account for the creator of Coke. One of their ads pays homage to Coke’s original purpose: a cure-all remedy. However, if I have one suggestion to give them, it may be to play down this part of Coke’s past, as it has a bit to do with its namesake: the fact it contained cocaine.
